The Morton School District #214 will conduct a Budget Hearing – Hearing to be held on April 17, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the Morton Jr/Sr High Lecture room during the regular board meeting. This meeting is open to the public and is to consider and adopt the Budget Extension for the Fiscal Year 2016-17. The public is encouraged to attend and will be afforded the opportunity to speak for or against said budget.

Due to the highway 7 closure the Morton School District will be providing school beginning on Monday, February 13th, at the Mineral Neighborhood Christian Center. School will begin at 8:00 AM and end at 2:45 PM for all students in Mineral. Lunch will be provided to all students during the road closure. Transportation will be provided by bus for students who normally ride the bus. Bus pick-up and drop-off times will be different than normal. The first pick-up time will be at 6:51 am. Routes are posted on the District Website and Facebook page. To contact the school site in Mineral during the school day you may call the church's phone number, 360-492-3491.
