Morton School District is excited to announce that beginning with the 2020/21 school year we have partnered with Teachers On Call to provide our sub service. Current subs should expect further information how to transfer to Teachers On Call to continue to sub.

Our HS Graduation is still planned as it has been in hopes that by the time June comes around we are able to hold this important milestone for our seniors. If we are not, then alternatives are currently being studied to see what works best.
Food delivery, childcare (as-is now), online work, and packets will continue. Plus, teachers are preparing assessments for all courses that will be part of 4th quarter and 2nd semester grades.
Today Gov. Inslee closed on-site education for the remainder of the year. 4th quarter classes begin on 4/13 online and through packets, and student participation is expected of all students. You can contact the elementary building on 4/13 for more information.

RE: Spring Break Notice
TO: Students and Families of Morton School District
Beginning on April 6th, next Monday, through Friday, April 10th, the district will not be offering its childcare or food service programs due to its scheduled spring break. The district does not have enough staff to carry out these programs during our pre-planned spring break. Both services will resume beginning April 13th at their regularly scheduled times.
For any student, Preschool thru 12th, who doesn't have access to the internet or a computer to link to online resources, please call the Morton Grade School at 360-496-5143 and request a weekly packet for your student. The grade school office will be open Monday thru Friday from 7:30 to 3:00 to take requests.
Tonight the Governor announced a Stay Home Order that is effective in 48 hours. Our childcare and food service will continue until we receive further guidance from the State.
To help ensure that you continue learning, we will provide a list of online resources on the Morton School District webpage which will be updated throughout the week. http://www.morton.k12.wa.us/closure-educational-resources
We strongly encourage you to utilize this information. Develop a routine: schedule a time each day for reading, mathematics, writing, and exercise.
