Many of you have seen the District's buses and fleet parked at the Jr/Sr HS beginning on Monday morning. This is due to our departure from the Bus Garage the district has been using along Highway 7. On Friday evening after a review of facilities assessment of the site the District was informed that they need to begin exiting the building and no longer use it due to the hazardous conditions the building has for the safety of our staff. Moving forward the District will seek out solutions for parking, maintenance, and office areas for our Transportation staff. Current parking will be at the Jr/Sr HS and George Harbaugh will be using an office at the Jr/Sr HS for the immediate future. We will be looking for a site to allow for maintenance of our buses and fleet moving forward until a permanent solution is determined.

A huge thank you to Stacy Merriman who was able to address the blocked sewer line at the elementary school. Troubles began near the end of yesterday and we were able to finish the day despite having to close bathrooms as in the basement. Stacy had help arrive just before school began and within 15 minutes everything was working as it should. Both buildings had plans on how to act in case this took longer as we were ready to move the elementary kids over to the Jr/Sr HS. Luckily this wasn't needed and school ran as normal. Thank you Stacy, we appreciate all of your work.
